Setting Up / Restoring Data Base

Initial Installation.

Download Lightning Payroll from https://www.lightningpayroll.com.au . You dont need the trial, just click "Download Now"

Run the installation and setup your company details. Register the product, download the license from the update license server as prompted. 



Restoring to a new pc or Migarating to another pc. 

Make sure you have created a Lightning Payroll backup in the old pc and move it to a USB stick or a network drive. 

Install the software on the new pc as described above for a new installation. 
When the program is installed yopu will be asked to get the license.
Insert your email address and ID account number.
Download the license from the license server. 
Note:- if you get a warning that the maximum license have been activated you will need to ring support on 07 3051 5895 and ask them to disabled all licenses because you are migrating . Once they deactivate all license on your account over the phone you will be able to click on the button to update license once again. 
Now the license should report successfull download and the program opens. 
Click on "Restor Database"
Navigate to the USB or the network drive which contacins your "Lightning Payroll" backup from the old PC.
Run the restoration process.
You are now on a new pc with your data restored.
