Mikrotik Winbox opens then crashes, may show CPE in quickbox then close, you may be able to connect from a different port but the crash is intermittent.
We have found that by clearing the Cache and deleting the contents of the Mikrotik Sessions folder may alleviate the issue.
heres how its done.
Open and view the file explorer in your windows machine, navigate to your User Directory.
Navigate and open the AppData Folder.
If you cannot see the AppData folder in your user directory you will need to change the view options so that you can see hidden files.
Navigate to the Local Roaming folder, identify the Mikrotik folder and open it.
Open the Winbox folder and delete its contents.
When you reopen Winbox a new sessions folder will be created and the crash should not occur.
