Mac OS X 10.6 L2TP VPN configuration
Step 1. Click on Network under System Preferences.
Step 2. Click the + sign to create a new service.
Step 3. From the Interface pop down menu choose VPN.
And next VPN type - L2TP over IPSes. Change the Service Name and then click Create
Step 4. Enter server IP adress and your user name. Click Authentication Settings.
Step 5. Enter your password and shared secret. You can find VPN PSK secret inClient Area Panel on L2TP tab.
Step 6. Enter server address and user name. Click Apply.
Step 7. Enter your password and password.
Step 8. Show VPN status in menu bar.
Click the box 'Show VPN status in menu bar' so you can easily connect and disconnect, and now hit the connect button to connect to your VPN.
