Firmware Recovery:
Download the firmware recovery tool from the desired models "Other" folder.
Disconect poer to fritzbox, plug network cable from WIndows PC into ethernet port #1
Start Recovery Tool
run through menus by clicking next,
When program is searching for fritzbox plug power back into fritzbox,
Program will identify and run a script,
FritzBox! will be on the desired firmware once rebooted.
Hopefully you had a saved backup of settings as this process will delete all current settings and return the device to factory settings with the desired firmwares installed.
